GiveCamp is a weekend-long event where technology professionals from designers, developers and database administrators to marketers and web strategists donate their time to provide solutions for non-profit organizations (501c3). Since its inception in 2007, the GiveCamp program has provided benefits to over 150 charities, with a value of developer and designer time exceeding $1,000,000 in services!

This week-end: May 20th-22nd we are going to have 4th annual GC event. The event is being held at the ICC Facility at 2500 Corporate Exchange Dr, Columbus, OH 43231.

40+ volunteers are going to start work around 6:30PM on Friday and planning to complete development efforts around 2:00PM on Sunday. This year we are planning to help 5 organizations:

• Northwest Plains District Family Church Camp, http://familycamp.heroku.com/, To grow families in Christ through Bible study, fellowship and fun, at a camp setting.
• Ohio Wildlife Center’s (OWC), http://ohiowildlifecenter.org/, Founded in 1984, Ohio Wildlife Center’s (OWC) mission is to foster an awareness and appreciation of Ohio’s native wildlife through conservation education, wildlife rehabilitation and wildlife health studies. 
• Gallery 202: Partners in Art, http://www.gallery202online.com, Six years old community arts organization that brings artists, patrons and businesses together.
• Interfaith Center for Peace, http://www.interfaithcenterforpeace.org/, Non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the furtherance of peace and understanding through the efforts of a diverse, interfaith community.
• Pets without Parents, http://www.petswithoutparents.net/, Pets Without Parents is a no-kill, nonprofit shelter for dogs and cats located in the Clintonville area of Columbus, Ohio.
