I decided that this was a good quiet week to change my domain account privledges from "Administrator" to "Restricted User" in the "Users Group".  So far I have been able to over come early problems with a little help from an internal MSFT alias set up to help folks overcome the addiction of running as Administrator (thanks guys!).

If you'd like to take the plunge into more secure computing, check out these blogs which I found useful:

The easiest way to run as a non-admin

We work very hard here to try to write our software to run in non-Admin environments, but it took one of my dev-leads to finally shame me into doing it myself (Thanks Chris!).

My next step will be to help friends and family overcome the "Administrator" addiction as well.
