Just a comment : there's a typo in SqlCeSyncDescriptionBuilder.GetDescriptionForTable

("", conn));

should be

SqlCeSyncDescriptionBuilder.GetDescriptionForTable

(table, conn));

Sql Azure Offline Visual Studio Plug-In - This adds a new item template for VS 2008 SP1 that enables you to setup offline synchronization relationships with SQL Azure.

I have posted reagrding this but have not seen any reply.

The msi does add the new items template but only to a C# project.

However in a C# project the wizard displays a connection info wrong display although the databases on SQL Azure exists as verified with SSMS. I think this wizard is broken, or the above statement needs modification.

Although, I am impressed by the new capability in handling conflicts including Constraint conflict, Conflict logging, Last-writer-wins conflict resolution and Improved simple provider conflict handling. I would not be putting this release into production as it is still a Community Technology Preview (CTP 2).

[Maheshwar}Sunil, We did not ship a GoLive license with CTP2 so you are right that its not production approved. RTM is just around the corner.

Good to see that there is life to the framework. The unlimited batch size is, of course, not good with wcf tunneling either. It is not just a memory concern.

Two questions:

1. Can ctp2 be recommended for production use?

2. When will MSF2 be released?

I am interested in the new conflict resolution features in CTP2 but can not find any new properties or methods on the CTP2 adaptor builder or sync agent.

Is there any documentation or examples that relate to the SQL2008<->SQLCe

Looks the new features are really cool.

By using CTP2 can we get the conflict change details on mobile device by raising the applychangefailed event as we do at server site.
