As promised in my earlier posts I will be doing a series of deep-dive of the new SyncServices features added in MSF V2 CTP2. Today I am starting off with the Batching feature.

I would not be putting this release into production as it is still a Community Technology Preview (CTP 2).

[Maheshwar}Sunil, We did not ship a GoLive license with CTP2 so you are right that its not production approved. RTM is just around the corner.

re: MSF V2 CTP2 Deep Dive – Memory Based Batching

Good to see that there is life to the framework. The unlimited batch size is, of course, not good with wcf tunneling either. It is not just a memory concern.

Two questions:

1. Can ctp2 be recommended for production use?

[Maheshwar]No. We dont recommend going to production with CTP2.

2. When will MSF2 be released?

[Maheshwar] Just around the corner.
