I saw this article about the pain that iTunes can become on the Geekdad blog. All interesting points. What’s more interesting of course is that Russ is still a fan of the iPod despite these issues. As I am, and I imagine huge numbers of us are.

So:

  • Successful device
  • Successful service
  • Not so hot on the software front

Apple is one of the most significant demonstrations of Software + Services in action, so it’s a shame to see the problems described here.
