After the rigours of preparing for PDC and then attempting to ingest all of the announcements I was pleased to take a week off from work.

It turned out to be fairly productive:

• Garage cleared and a load of junk taken to recycle centre. Check. (The old dining table survives – gah!)
• Lady H had a load of blinds fitted all round the house, so there were ugly holes where the curtain rails used to be. Filled and painted. Check.
• Painted a picture with Evan (who is now 10 months old today!). Check.
• Went to the swimming pool with Evan. Twice. Check.
• Suspect that Evan now realises she has a Daddy. Check.
• Finished Fable 2. Started Mass Effect (and just received my copy of GOW2). Check.
• Sorted out the Media Center so that is now taking over from Sky. Check.
• Additional fridge and freezer ordered to cope with Christmas. Check.

Not bad. Managed to do all of that with something of a cold and virus combo.

But now back to work.
