Kudos to System Center User Group of Malaysia (SCUG) for successfully organized System Center Solutions Summit 2009 (SCSS) for the second year. The SCSS brought together a group of diverse IT professionals seeking and sharing knowledge on Microsoft’s key technologies in infrastructure management.
SCSS is focused around how to use Microsoft’s technologies such as System Center, Hyper-V, Application Virtualization, Enterprise Desktop Virtualization and Windows 7 to improve and assist organizations to better manage and monitor their IT environments for better efficiency and productivity. “Microsoft Management Summit (MMS) is too far for most of us here in Asia to attend. We hope that SCSS will grow and benefit professionals that seek knowledge in improving IT management”, mentioned Raymond Chou, SCUG’s running President and Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP).
The event kicked off with a welcome address by Raymond and Yu Tsing and followed by industry experts conducting hourly sessions of demos and sharing of their knowhow.

Information Worker Community Day was held on 10 December 2009 at Monash University Sunway Campus. Despite the organizing team (Patrick Yong, Rahimah, Jen Wong and Rizlan) took 1 month to setup everything, the event attracted 100 attendees who share common passion in Office 2010, SharePoint 2010 and Exchange 2010. All these would not be possible without the hard work of both SharePoint User Group (SPUG) and Extraordinary League of IT Experts (ELITE).
Information Worker Community Day was design to cater both IT Pro and Developers running on two separate tracks. The organizing team has 10 speakers consist of MVPs and community leaders from Netherland, USA, Malaysia and Singapore (5 are SharePoint MVPs) to conduct technical sessions on SharePoint 2010, Office 2010 and Exchange 2010.
MIND (Malaysia Independent Developers) had answered to the call for Windows 7 pre-launch excitement! Made For 7 Coding Contest, kicked-off back in August 14th with 52 registered contestants.
