About NETNew WebLog

What does Microsoft have to do with rowing?  Nothing, except that my job and my sport are, along with my family, pillars of my life that I approach with equal passion.  This blog combines business topics from my job at Microsoft with personal observations on trying to stay at the top of my game in a highly competitive sport.

I have categorized posts into 3 topics:

1.  .NET Platform:  News about the application platform, architecture, service orientation, and interoperability, as well as major executive announcements that cut across the Microsoft product line and demonstrate the overall value of the platform.  My professional interest and history in integration and SOA.

2.  Manufacturing Industry:  News regarding Microsoft's platform positioning towards customers and partners in the manufacturing industry.  My current job at Microsoft.

3.  Rowing:  Personal experiences and things I find useful in training, racing, sports science, and the general quest for speed on the water.

Hope it's a fun read and the info is useful for you.
