All MIX11 sessions are availalbe to watch, stream or download at the Channel 9 events section.  You can smooth stream sessions, download video in WMV or MP4, get audio-only versions, and download extra files like powerpoint decks.  There are a couple other ways to consume the media ranging from point and click down to getting your hands into code and scripts:

• RSS.  Add one of the following feeds to your Zune, iTunes or other favorite podcast software:

• VLC: There's a great writeup by Jon Galloway on how to stream all the sessions (via the above feeds) using VLC.
• Browser Download: See Peter Kellner's download page on how to download videos with a FireFox plug-in, already renamed to the session title.
• PowerShell: Jon Galloway has a script available at his blog.
• Write some code against the MIX11 OData feed

I'm sure there are plenty of ones I've missed, please feel free to post additional options in the comments.  We're also always looking for ways to streamline the online conference experience so please give us feedback!  This year we've moved media from every MIX to a single video vault on Channel 9.  Past PDC videos are also available and they're all linked to speakers that have held sessions across multiple conferences and years.

Some details and rough device guidelines

• WMV High: 1920 x 1088
• MP4 High: 1024 x 576 (iPad, netbooks)
• WMV Low: 960 x 540 (Windows Phone 7, iPhone 4*)
• MP4 Low: 480 x 272 (ZuneHD, iPhone <4)

*iPhone doesn't support WMV, so you're probably best off grabbing the MP4 High version

The MIX11 Website has been launched! is the place to go for all MIX 2011 updates and announcements.  Currently you can read up on the tentative agenda, register for the event, and vote for Open Call submissions from the community.

The website is the first of the conferences on a new platform and is the last of the conference web sites to be migrated over to Azure.  Orchard is an open source ASP.Net MVC CMS that just hit their v1 milestone.

Unfortunately we did have a few hiccups out of the gate, but we're working on getting the all resolved asap.  

1. There shouldn't be any more problems with Unicode characters.  It was an inconvenience for some, but for others their names were not displayed correctly and that's just amateur hour.  I'm sorry and hope that it's resolved for everyone at this point.  There are several parts of the pipeline between the initial submission and them ending up on the website and one of them was saving data as ASCII instead of UTF8.  That piece of code has been sent back to the 1990s.
2. MIX10 videos.  All MIX videos (from every year) are still available from the Archive.  Direct links to streaming sessions are broken right now but will be available as soon as they are ported into the archives.  We'll get at least a redirect to the archive page up as a temp fix.

There wasn't enough time to get every feature we wanted into the site, but it's the first on it's platform and it will grow from event to event.  Here are some hidden features that you can use for OpenCall voting in the meantime:

• Search: http://live.visitmix.com/OpenCall/vote/search/<keyword> - http://live.visitmix.com/OpenCall/vote/search/WP7 for example.  You can search by title, name or abstract so authors can link to all their sessions by searching for their name.
• Paging: We have a LOT of sessions up there (over 200).  Break them up into pages of 25 by using http://live.visitmix.com/OpenCall/vote/page/<1-9> - http://live.visitmix.com/OpenCall/vote/page/1
