Hi Mathew,

I'm trying to automate a web based survey which includes interactive flash file application in it, using Coded UI testing. Does Coded UI testing support tesing on interactive flash files? I'm using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Mathew,

The whole test runs depending on the number of rows in the data source. Is there any way, by which I can run only a specific method for the number of the rows provided in the data source?

Hi Mathew,

I'm testing an application developed in .NET. But we have so many pop-ups which are developed using java scripts. So is it possible to record the actions in those types of pop-ups? Will Coded-UI identifies the pop-up windows and the controls on it?

When i follwed the above steps, I am not getting the "coded UI test Dialog" , may i know the reason why it is not displaying, or any setting is required or any permision is required inorder to get that dialog. Pls help me in this regard.

Have a look here to see how to make this DB connection string come from a config file (it applies to VS2005) but I'm assuming it's a similar process now.

Hi Mathew,

I am facing a problem during recording of an windows application.

On some controls the tool displays a message as "Last action on list item was not recorded because the control does not have any good identification property". I have also observed that after the recording there should be 5 files under your test project but in our case it is not generating the UserControl.cs file.

Please provide related information which can overcome this issue.

HI MAthew Your code is pretty clean but im getting error all the lines which has htmlproperties for example qEdit.SearchProperties.Add(HtmlProperties.Edit.ControlType, ControlType.Edit.Name,

HtmlProperties.Edit.Id, "sb_form_q");

How do i define HTMlproperties it highlights rd color in my Visual studio i have done as per the step its mentioned
