We have just released a Wiki on msdn2.microsoft.com! Now anyone with a valid Live Id or hotmail account can contribute content directly to the main msdn web site. Although the wiki feature is currently available on only the VS2005 and Windows SDK managed reference docs, over the next few months it should grow to encompass most if not all of the content in the library. Electoral votes

After watching the presidential debates and seeing that many people feel that Kerry won all three debates I started to wonder who is going to win. I've heard the pundits repeat that the first debate put Kerry back into the race but since then things have been at a tie.

here is an interesting site that takes the recent polls in each state and calculates how many electoral votes each candidate has according to the pollster

Check out this "news" report on undecided voters (30 sec, commercial first, then report)

To me it looks like that candidate that wins in two out of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida takes it.

Mount St Helens

I've been fascinated by Mt St Helens recently. I was in the third grade when it erupted in 1980 and remember it vividly as we were studying plate tectonics and volcanism at the time. This time, though not as explosive, it's more interesting (I think) because there is some much up to the minute info on what's going on at the mountain available on the Internet.
