Today marks the first public technology preview release of the Microsoft Expression Interactive Designer (previously code named "Sparkle").

I've been using the Interactive Designer since I saw a demo of it at TechReady a few weeks ago.  It's an incredible tool that will make working with WPF a breeze.  I honestly believe that if we would have had a tool like this back in the late 90's when VML first came out, we would all be talking about how XAML is VML version 3.

Oh well, it didn't happen that way, SVG muddied the waters and the world was forced to wait until today.
