&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;the Provided URI scheme &amp;#39;file&amp;#39; is invalid; expected &amp;#39;http&amp;quot;. &amp;nbsp;It&amp;#39;s thrown from System.ServiceModel.Channels.transportFactory. &amp;nbsp;I know that you can get that error if you try to start a RIA services app by just startign the XAP file. &amp;nbsp;Is the profiler doing something similar?&lt;/p&gt;
