These various keyboard layourt DLLs were created (in some cases by Microsoft developers, in other cases by various OEM developers like NEC and DEC using the DDK) at various points between 1992 and 2000.
There is minimal to no documentation for them (even in source comments as the Korean layouts were) so it is going to take some time to parse the interesting and functionally relevant differences between them all!
Yea, remember the NEC PC-98 and other non PC compatible machines that originally ran Japanese MS-DOS with customized IO.SYS?
That's... a lot! I hope you aren't planning to keep us waiting too long for the continuation! ;-)
