Dublin datacenter won the European Commission’s Best Practice Award

The Dublin facility embodies our commitment to apply the power of software and information technology to supporting environmental sustainability; the 300,000+ square foot datacenter is 50% more efficient than traditional data centers that were built 5-6 years prior. In the future, the environmental impact of that facility will be even further reduced thanks to a new agreement by Microsoft to purchase renewable wind power from a Dublin energy provider for the datacenter.
