Johnson Controls Launches New Building Efficiency Solution

  • Comments 0

If you haven’t heard, we are very happy to share the news that our partner, Johnson Controls Inc., announced the launch of its new building efficiency product this week at GreenBuild in Toronto, Canada!  Panoptix is the newest member of a long standing family of industry leading building efficiency solutions.  Panoptix is built upon Microsoft’s data and applications platform, including  Azure, to deliver visibility and actionable information across a diverse set of building systems.  Panoptix empowers building owners and operators to make better decisions that achieve and cost and energy savings goals.

Back in July, you may recall that Johnson Controls was named a Finalist for Microsoft’s 2011 Sustainability Partner of the Year award.  Johnson Controls earned this honor for their Metasys® solution, with which customers such as the owners of the Emprise State Building have been able to reduce energy consumption by 38% and drive cost savings of $4.4 million.  With the new capabilities in Panoptix, we expect Johnson Controls to continue delivering strong results and compelling return on investment for its customers.

If you happen to be here at GreenBuild in Toronto this week, please come visit us and our friends at Johnson Controls in their booth in the North Expo Hall to ask questions and see a demo.  Or go to whatspossible.johnsoncontrols.com to learn more about their entire solution family and Panoptix in particular.

Congratulations to our friends at Johnson Controls!
