We just officially released Office for Mac 2011 SP1 this morning. I know many of you are anxiously awaiting this update. If you are using Automatic Update (MAU) you should get prompted at some point today.  If you’re not using MAU, you can get access to the update either through VLSC or through the Downloads Center on the external Office for Mac website.

This update provides increased stability, security, and performance to the whole suite as well as some new features. In addition to a few features enhancements in Excel for Mac 2011 and PowerPoint for Mac 2011, there are some added features and improvements in Outlook for Mac 2011:

· Updated synchronization support for Sync Services.

· Support for Exchange-based Server-Side rules.

· Resend or redirect emails to recipients.

· Meeting invitation functionality is improved.
