Robert Leithiser (AKA Bob Leithiser) (AKA Microsoft Bob, not to be confused with the former Microsoft application, Microsoft Bob) is a Principal Consultant with Microsoft specializing in enterprise-level application architecture and developmen spanning Service-Oriented architecture, .NET, and SQL Server.  He has helped very large customers, particularly in the public sector in the adoption of Microsoft technologies, serving a range of roles spanning architecture, project management, application development, and deployment. He has 27 years of experience in Information Technology, holding a MS in Computer Science, a MS in Software Engineering, and currently finishing a PhD in Software Engineering in the area of automated software development. Robert has been focused over the last 6 years on Deparment of Defense (DoD) solutions.  His long term objective is to build intelligent software frameworks that leverage human learning and decision models to make actionable decisions through iterative data mining integrated with pattern discovery via simulation.
