If you have developed your solution leveraging the Microsoft assets, you have made the right bet. Microsoft is the best priced, best penetrated and most customised platform for Health.
There is a wonderful alignment between Microsoft’s assets and what Health Reform is trying to achieve. Our customers are investing in technology to facilitate collaboration between healthcare workers, that moves the clinically relevant data to the point of care, that provides decision support to doctors, patients and nurses and that reduces the administrative burden on our constrained workforce. The Microsoft Stack does all this. Its fits with health is wonderful.
We at Microsoft are making significant investments in leveraging our assets to assist the Health Reform Agenda. Key to our success is you, our Partners.
How can we help you? We now have a dedicated Health & Social Services Team, we have made a number of recent investments in acquiring Health specific technology, we are undertaking significant industrial design projects to customise IT for Clinical end users, we have a significant and growing footprint in Health ensuring that more and more of your target customers are standardising on the Microsoft Stack, and we are investing in building a Health ecosystem for the already 989 (and growing) Health Partners.
This blog is one of a number of communication mechanisms we are creating to help you get better connected with us as a corporation and to leverage the investments that we and other Partners are making in Health.
We will provide you with regular updates on relevant technology, events and other opportunities. We have already made a number of significant announcements recently and you may want to use the links below to access more info on them.
The industrial design project in Health is called CUI (Common User Interface) and you can find information and the design guides at: www.mscui.com. Our recent acquisitions include a health platform which creates patient centric views on data, a Hospital Information System of our own, and technology to empower patients to make better decisions on their and their loved ones Health. On behalf of the Health Team at Microsoft Australia, we look forward to a very productive and profitable relationship with you
