In case you missed it, we're pretty excited this week about the release of Internet Explorer 9 Beta. It represents a huge leap forward - and while it's only in beta at the moment, it's helping to bring you a better, more beautiful web by embracing open standards and making use of new technologies like HTML 5.
So what's with the green guy? Well, fans of The Gorillaz should recognise him as Murdoch - bassist and, err, slightly odd bloke - who has helped us out a little by explaining what makes the beta of IE9 so great. As part of our IE9 celebration we've helped a whole host of people launch new, beautiful, interactive websites that really make use of the new browser's awesome power. The Gorillaz new website is one of them. With the help of Murdoch and his gang of geeks, his website has become a hugely interactive, very rich, and slightly more disturbing place. And we'd love you to go and check it out!
