The people should not suffer a diminished education because of their location. With all of today's advancements in technology it would take little for them to receive a quality education, whether it be homeschooling or in public class rooms. Opportunity's for education like www.ohdela.com help to make this possible in the state of ohio, but what about other states? I believe that education needs to be a focus for everyone.

My husband has been an agriculture and life sciences teacher for 31 years and is very involved in FFA. FFA and 4-H are the ways we are targeting to work some with teachers and evolve their use of technology and other tools. http://www.procomservices.net/seasucc.aspx

We are now working to try to get a remote mentoring network and tools with grants.

I started in teaching and teaching technology to teachers and graduate students then entered then entered the Technology and IT world.

My family all support these activities. My daughter is a Biology and science major at Appalachian State. She is inspired also to assist. My heart is with the rural students and education.

Please keep me posted on events and anything you can offer for this initiative in NC will be appreciated.
