Not only does google provide a nice gym service to it's employees but they also provide some cologne (perfume yet to come, ladies) for those stinky men! Anyway, this is some awesome swag to give out...lol!
And since this is made in China, I want to make sure that this doesn't contain 'excess' amounts of lead in it....lol! Read the whole article HERE
I better wait for Microsoft's Body Odor Remover 3.2 Oz sprayer. :) (Rest assured, it'll be top notch, but the packing wont be sexy!)
Gotta love valleywag!
What would you do if you knew you just had a few months to live? Would you continue doing what you are already doing or you would do something that you really enjoy doing?
Randy Pausch, a Computer Science professor at CMU delivered this amazing lecture, unfortunately it's aptly titled for him. Randy is suffering from Pancreatic cancer. But the key take away from this lecture is his positive outlook on life. My dad always said, It's not just the length but also the breadth of your life that is important!
My prayers are with Randy!

I have been evangelizing this website to every man and his dog! I can't believe websites like Twitter are getting more attention than useful, smart websites like www.FareCast.com ! Weird!
Anyway, what's the one thing you worry about when you are planning on buying tickets for your upcoming vacation? Ticket Prices and/or When to buy them to get the best deal. Right?! This problem for most part has been solved by this awesome company called Farecast!
It's very simple and elegant. You punch in the dates that you want to depart and return, select if you'd like to compare with other websites and voila you have your results with a recommendation and a graph showing you some price history. Simply elegant!
My only problem - When it's time to buy, it actually takes me to another site, usually the airline site. I wish they integrated the buying aspect as well. None the less, it's a great site.
And, oh! You can also use their farecast prediction service for hotels! (Still in Beta) Aweeeeeesomeeeeeeeeee!!!
Amazon has finally launched it's much anticipated Mp3 store. Here's my first take...
The store is no way better than iTunes, they just don't get the concept of user friendly design. The prices are on par, if not a wee bit cheaper. Not a very big collection but pretty good for a beta. The best part is all of this music is DRM free and will play on any device. This is really good...and it always baffles me how these companies are getting away by having DRM, esp tying my songs to devices. It's simple logic, when I buy my CD's or when I bought my tapes, they don't have any restrictions like how I can play them. I don't buy a different copy for my car and a different copy to play at home etc. So why should I be restricted when I buy a mp3 from iTunes?
My all time favorite music site is/was allofmp3.com! If I had to describe it one word, it'd be - Phenomenal! They had a thick client which was just a joy to use. Their prices - phew! So cheap! Anyway, all good things has to come to an end. However, there is this new site, www.mp3sparks.com which is equally good...I've never purchased anything off of this site but it looks really good and the prices are COMPETATIVE! I have feeling mp3sparks will be as addictive as crack and when they shut it down, I'd have to go thru the withdrawal symptoms all over again.
Anyway, do your comparisons between www.mp3sparks.com and the Amazon mp3 Store - Amazon needs to work on their design and usability!
A very good compilation of the cell phones of tomorrow...it's amazing to see an industry evolve so fast! I still remember the mono-color, fluorescent green Nokia cell phone with a huge antenna - we've sure come a long way!
The recent geekSpeak show that Lynn & I hosted is online on Channel 9 - Check it out!
This geekSpeak, recorded on Wednesday, August 8 (with host Lynn Langit and guest host Mithun Dhar), features Anton Delsink sharing a great overview of Visual Studio Team System. Anton, who is new to Microsoft, is based in Dubai. Prior to working for Microsoft he implemented VSTS solutions for customers.
Anton introduces us to VSTS and helps clear up any confusion over names and what tools are included in each edition. Anton enlightens us on the openness of VSTS for third party add-in tools....Continued HERE
In my thirst to learn more about .Net 3.5, I serendipitously stumbled upon this really cool utility - LINQPad!
Download LINQPad it's a fairly good alternative to SQL Management Studio and be warned, LINQ is highly addictive!
If you already don't know, I love and adore Starbucks! I spend a lot of my time there socializing, studying, playing board games, hanging out with friends or just reading a book! My favorite one is the University Village Starbucks near the UW. It's the highest grossing Starbucks and the second one to be opened in the whole world!
Anyway, a friend of mine sent me this site, which is a Starbucks Oracle that matches your personality with the drink that you most often order...
My Drink: Tall Java Chip Frappucino With an Add shot of Espresso
The all-knowing Oracle of Starbucks
Behold the Oracle's wisdom:
Personality type: High Maintenance
You pride yourself on being assertive and direct; everyone else thinks you're bossy and arrogant. You're constantly running your mouth about topics that only you would find interesting. Your capacity for wasting other people's time is limitless. Your friends find you intolerable, that's why they're plotting to kill you. Also drinks: Water. Bottled, chilled, with four ice cubes, a twist of lemon, in a crystal glass. Can also be found at: Trendy martini bars
Hmm...this is sorta true! The Oracle is real! lol...
