I love my new Windows Phone 7 smartphone...and I think I'd be saying that even if I didn't work for Microsoft!

There's a little quirk however that Canadian users should be aware of, particularly if you want to take advantage of the integrated Bing Maps search capability. Just like Bing on the desktop, Bing on Windows Phone 7 is incredibly good about finding anything - locations, directions or weather info - fast and easy.

When you setup your new phone, be sure to set Browser & Search Language to English (United States) - not English Canada as would be the setting when you ran though the setup wizard.  Once making this change, you should be able to validate it by going into maps, letting the device find your location and then searching for Restaurants or whatever and it should display results that are in your immediate area. From there, you're good to go!
