I read a great article on business intelligence (BI) in ITWorld.com recently that reported how Gartner analyst noted that BI is all about placing a main focus on delivering right data to right people.

Our latest issue of Momentum Business Insights features a great BI customer story that focuses on how one finanicial institution achieves deeper business insight with integrated data management. This is a great example of how Canadian companies are taking advantage of the Microsoft business intelligence vision.

This month in Momentum, we also look how SharePoint 2010 can help boost BI insight across the organization. Just recently, we announced the availability of the SQL Server 2008 R2 Update For Developers January 2011 Update. It features contains a rich set of presentations, demos, hands-on labs and videos for your IT managers and developers.

I hear from IT decision makers all the time about how they are looking at how best to make business intelligence available throughout the organization. That's why, moving forward, our strategy has been all about making making BI pervasive and available to everyone. Creating this integrated systems helps the workplace become highly efficient, resulting in cost savings and low total cost of ownership (TCO).
