Every now and then some goodness comes across my inbox and this product is shaping up to becoming a must-have tool for me. It's called Xobni and it's focus is purely on giving me statistics etc around people with whom I interact via email.
Internally, I'm fairly well known for my emails and I wonder what people are going to think about my email habits should they choose to install this product.
I especially love how it gives me information around whom I speak with the most (ranking) along side what time(s) of the day these folks are most likely on.
Why is this important?
It can help determine when's the best time to call someone or simply choose to leave them an email. In that if for example PersonA spends a large amount of their time between 11am - 1pm emailing, it's probably not a good time to call them about something (don't want to interrupt anyone during a clear inbox period). It's also interesting to note how many people reply to my emails from sun-up to sun-down.
This is a great product, and I love how it's contextually aware of my habits.
Thanks Frank for the invite.. muchly welcomed.
