Microsoft Introduces New Accounting Software and Services for Small and Home-Based Businesses
Yesterday, Microsoft Corp. announced the availability of Microsoft® Office Accounting Express 2007, financial management software designed for early startups and home-based businesses that currently use pen and calculator or spreadsheets to run their operations. Office Accounting Express 2007 consists of desktop software available as a free download and seven integrated online services.

I downloaded the free version of Office Accounting Express 2007. However, the product needs to be activated with US address. I am not a US citizen. What should I do on the activation part?
anyone know how many digits allowed for account numbers? are decimels allowed? dashes? I didn't want to download a trial version just to find this info. thanks. firstname.lastname@example.org

I keep getting
"Cannot Log onto selected database" when I try to create a new database
I downloaded it and am experimenting with it. One question though, If this is intended for small and home based businesses why is the manual payroll not available? They are the ones most likely to use that feature.
We had to make many choices about which functionality to include in this free version of Office Accounting. We analyzed the segment and worked to include those features that were most frequently used and to avoid cluttering up the User Experience with infrequently used features or reports. We have found that it is much more common for these businesses to either outsource the payroll processing or use the tax tables in a do-it-yourself payroll service, which are both available in the Office Accounting Express 2007 version.
i got very angry looking around for the manual payroll, it is not mantioned anyware that this is not included. and basicley this was the main reason i download it. maybe is it avelible through a small addin
