Virtual Labs – Are you utilizing this benefit of the Microsoft Partner Program?

Virtual Labs are just one of the many benefits that you can use to train, grow, market, and build your staff, sales, and business as a member of the Microsoft Partner Program.  Making sure you are utilizing these benefits is an important step to ensure you are getting the most out of your Microsoft Partner Program membership. Are you currently getting the most out of this benefit?  

 

Virtual Labs provide you with direct access to information necessary to learn how to configure, deploy, implement, and understand many of the Microsoft product technologies out there, in a lab-type environment, directly from the convenience of your office through your computer.  These can range in time from 30 minutes to a full day and you have access to live ones as well as numerous pre-recorded ones available on demand.  Here is just a small sample of some of these Virtual Labs you have access to as a member of the Microsoft Partner Program:

 

  • Labcast: Implementing and Administering Windows® Small Business Server 2008 - provides you with the necessary knowledge to plan and implement Windows Small Business Server 2008. You will gain first-hand knowledge on topics such as installing, migrating, monitoring, securing, and backing up data.
  • Configure Data Sharing in Windows Server 2008 - Covers enhancements to the File and Print Services in Windows Server 2008, as well as enhancements to DFS Replication. This module will introduce you to ways in which an organization can use Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0) for document storage, collaboration and communication. You will also be given the beginning steps to install and configure Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.
  • Configure Terminal Services in Windows Server 2008 - Terminal Services has been updated with Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008, including changes to Terminal Services core. This course covers the new Terminal Services core functionality, as well as Terminal Services Web Access, Terminal Services Licensing, and more.
  • Experience Demo Showcase 2008 - REQUIRES 1280x1024 - With the Demo Showcase environment, you can show customers how a collection of integrated technology solutions can help solve their business needs. These click-through simulations, which represent 25 customer scenarios and 29 Microsoft products, enable anyone on your sales team to deliver rich demonstrations.
