WPCConnectComic1

Can you believe we are just over a month away from WPC 2010?!  For those of you that have been to WPC in the past, and even those of you that haven’t but have been to other conferences, meetings, etc., you know that one of the big benefits that comes out of events like these is the personal connections you make with your peers, subject matter experts, and others while there.

To help you make these connections even easier to set up, as well as making it easier for you to find the people that you want to connect with (by location, interests, experience, etc.), we once again have the WPC Connect tool available and live now on the Digital WPC site.  Not only can you search for people to connect with and schedule these meetings, either in the established WPC Connect area or in any area you choose to enter, but now we have expanded this tool to include pictures of the various attendees and published them on the WPC Connect Wall.  With the WPC Connect Wall, you can now scan through those with registered profiles that include pictures and find out who they are to enable easier connection making.  After all, let’s be honest…  How many of you know someone by their face because you’ve seen them before, maybe connected at a prior meeting, or maybe you saw them present somewhere; however, you can’t for the life of you remember their name?  Come on, you know that’s happened to you.  Well, with the WPC Connect Wall, if you see someone you recognize, you can see who they are and then decide if you want to setup a meeting time at WPC.

To get started, head out to the Digital WPC site, make sure your profile is updated (including your picture) so others can find you too, then start setting up your WPC Connect meetings for while you are at WPC 2010 this year.  I'll see you there!
