Here is a question that came up recently from a partner with an Action Pack Development & Design subscription.  The question was, “I have an Action Pack Development & Design subscription, so how do I register my MSDN benefit included in it?”  Since I figured there may be other partners out there with this question, I thought I would post it here for all of you.

Here are the steps to register your MSDN benefit for Action Pack Development & Design subscriptions:

1. Visit the MSDN site.
2. Sign in with your Windows Live ID associated with your Action Pack Development and Design subscription.
3. Enter your personal information, preferences, and benefit access number (technical contact ID). This information must exactly match the information you entered in the Partner Membership Center.
4. Accept the agreement to complete registration

One thing to remember, if you have just started your Action Pack Development & Design subscription, it can take up to three days from the time you start your Action Pack subscription before your MSDN benefit is available to be registered.  By the way, if it has been over three days and you are still unable to register your MSDN benefit through the steps above, please contact the Regional Service Center for your country for assistance.
