Just before Worldwide Partner Conference a few weeks ago, I announced the Version 2.0 of the Microsoft Partner Info app for Windows Phone was releasing with several new categories of information as well as a new interface: Microsoft Partner Info V. 2.0 is here with WPC app integration and more! In that post, I mentioned that the version 2.0 of the Android app would be coming with the addition of these new feeds; however, not with the new Windows Phone interface. Then last week I told you about a whole new set of feeds that were slipstreamed into the Microsoft Partner Info app (and did not require an update download): New feeds slipstreamed into the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app today. If you were watching my Twitter account yesterday, you also saw this post from me:
Well, I am happy to let you know that the Version 2.0 of the Microsoft Partner Info app for Android devices did in fact go live in the Android Marketplace yesterday afternoon and is now available to anyone with an Android device. In this new version for Android, you will have the additional sections included that were introduced in the 2.0 version for Windows Phone:
As noted in prior posts, it still has the same interface as prior versions of the Android app since the new Windows Phone interface of the app is Windows Phone specific.
For those of you with the Microsoft Partner Info app already installed on your Android devices, if you received an update notification, just install the update to get the Version 2.0 of the app. If you did not get an update notification, or if you don’t have the Microsoft Partner Info app on your phone yet, no worries. Here is how you can get it for yourself right now:
As always, please keep your input and feedback coming on the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app.
