imageBack in March of this year, we announced the general availability of Windows Intune in 35 countries around the world. Then in July of this year, we announced the beta version availability of the next update to the Windows Intune service. Well, today, we are proud to announce the general availability of that next release of Windows Intune, which brings with it many new features and enhancements that we believe you and your clients will really enjoy.

Plus one of the other features of Windows Intune, which is not new in this current release but has been a very popular feature since the Windows Intune initial release, is the inclusion of Windows 7 Enterprise upgrade rights today and upgrade rights to future versions of Windows as well! I specifically bring this one up because I was speaking with a partner the other week about Windows Intune and they mentioned they were not aware that Windows Intune included the upgrade rights already within it, so I wanted to make sure you remembered this as well since it is a fantastic savings opportunity for clients and services opportunity for our partners.

Here is a quick video from Jon Roskill where he sat down with Chris Hertz, CEO of New Signature, a services company out of Washington DC and Microsoft partner to talk about Windows Intune and cloud helping grow their business (over 40% year over year!) as a Microsoft partner:
