@Hermine - As a Registered member in the Microsoft Partner Network today and the SBSC designation (NOTE: SBSC is a designation, not a competency), then in October 2010, assuming you are up to date with your SBSC requirements, you would be a Microsoft Partner and could use the Microsoft Partner logo and continue to use the SBSC badge for as long as you meet the requirements for SBSC. Again to clarify. I am currently a Registered Partner with an SBSC competency. Am I understanding that in October 2010, I will now be able to use the Microsoft Partner Logo and indicate that I have a SBSC competency? Does this mean that the SBSC logo is going away?

Excellent! I knew they would be grading competencies but I was worried that clients could be mislead - what's proposed is very clear and I hope Microsoft will help us partners explain what the partnership entails.
