Hi Mike, please forgive this blog hi-jack to let me just say a big respect to Steve Wiebe (and family), i've been gaming since '86 just for fun (no where near the level of my favourite Donkey Kong player) ;). having watched KoK, i believe that steve's attitude and dedication will make him the overall 'King of Kong' a title HE deserves more than anyone on the planet.

I'm a huge fan of the documentary, and this was a fantastic writeup of the event for those of us who are still interested in the saga! Thanks! Although it breaks my heart that Steve didn't set the record, it's awesome to see that he's still trying and holding his own. Cheers.

Perfect timing on the writeup. I finally got around to listening to the final Signal and was happy to see an extended "behind the scenes" show up on your blog this morning. Question is....what are you going to do at PCD08 to top this?
