I was recently hunting down some good articles where Microsoft is talking about S+S.

Here’s a few of the ones I found very helpful.

• Ozzie's Cloud Hangs over Silicon Valley, In a talk at Silicon Valley's Churchill Club on Thursday, Ray Ozzie, Microsoft's chief software architect, discussed the impact cloud computing will have on the tech industry.

• Ray Ozzie: Still Early Days for Cloud Computing, Speaking at a JP Morgan event in Boston on Wednesday, Microsoft's Chief Software Architect Ray Ozzie shared his views on the status of enterprise cloud computing.
• Microsoft to Talk Sun-Cloud Interoperability, At Sun Microsystems' JavaOne conference this week, Microsoft will discuss interoperability between Windows Azure and a high-performance Web service stack called Metro for Sun's GlassFish application server to talk to .NET systems.
• Microsoft Dials Hohm to Cut Home Energy Use, Microsoft will enter the burgeoning business of home-energy management on Wednesday with Hohm, a free Web application that helps consumers conserve electricity and natural gas.

• Microsoft Plans a Bridge to Windows Azure, Microsoft has hinted it will eventually offer tools that let businesses span the gap between their own infrastructure and Redmond's platform in the sky, Windows Azure.
• Azure and Interoperability:  See Steve Marx posting regarding language interoperability.
• Microsoft partner IDV Solutions created a mapping overlay tool leveraging Silverlight, Bing Maps and DC Government data hosted on our OGDI cloud (Azure) platform.  The application is called Visual Fusion
• Education data from the Federal Education Budget Project sponsored by the New America Foundation now hosted on the OGDI platform
