Hey, with all the attention this new keyboard and mouse has received, you know what's missing? A close-up view of the keyboard itself. The link above is the same one every news story has used, but it gives scant information about the keyboard. I would really like to see the layout up close. Maybe you can pass this on.

Um, Microsoft mice and keyboards have ALWAYS been supported on the Mac. Have been for years. They aren't "entering" the market.

The difference is that this time they are putting cloverleafs on this keyboard instead of flags. ;)

Why is it that there's a big deal about it now when the information has been on the Microsoft Hardware site for a few months now?

Yah, don't need a mouse and keyboard - see an opportunity for forth party developers to make little APPLE stickers to stick on that mutant key. Would make it easier for Switchers to feel comfortable using a Mac though if they've been used to the wierd shape keyboard. No way as cool as mighty mouse though.

A bluetooth keyboard with trackpad might come in handy though, when 'Book plugged into LCD projector or large screen.
