So, today, I signed up my Acer Ferrari 4000 to dogfooding Office "12" in live/production/day-to-day job use - yes, live baby!! I'm kinda late in the game, unlike many of my colleagues at Microsoft - who already have stories written and books sold (well, not really) - they're neck deep into dogfooding O12 is what I mean. I did not want to get into it early in the game as I travel a lot and did not want to take the risk and put myself in a "no-email-zone" if in case. Internally, DPE started receiving Beta1 bits earlier last month and from what I have seen and heard, the bits are fairly stable and is probably a good time to start putting the guns out. Many of my buddies (external to Microsoft) have asked me if they can participate in beta testing O12. While the quota is limited, this is definitely an option Microsoft provides.

I have seen at least a dozen different demos of O12 at Microsoft including the one presented by Chris Capossela (Corporate VP). After using it today live, I am convinced - it is going to make some waves in the customer and IT world. I am completely signed up my life to it. Especially Outlook 12.
