I’m here at TechEd 2006 and WOW, we’re having a fun time. It’s great to see so many familiar faces and catch up with friends throughout the community. I haven’t been attending breakout sessions but have been helping out at the VSTS Microsoft booth, chill’in w/ the INETA, MVP, & RD crew, and attending the Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions.
The BOF sessions are cool because their run by non-Microsoft personal about issues the community wants to talk about, it’s not the regular Microsoft messaging, and everyone can participate. It’s a great way to get a pulse on the community, what non-Microsofties really think of MS products or other tools. Very cool.
So last night we had the traditional Influencers Party! TechEd is known for it’s great parties, and they just keep getting better every next evening. The Influencers Party is probobly the favorite since you’re bound to know a lot of the poeple there if you’re there. I’ve got some great pictures to share!!
