Microsoft raised $75M this year in our annual United Way Giving Campaign.  This amount includes Microsoft matching funds, payroll deductions, one-time giving, a multitude of fund-raisers and more!  We raised more this year than any other company in the US (involved with the Giving Campaign)!  So it was fitting that President Clinton be on campus Friday.  Mr. Clinton talked about giving and how the Internet has changed the very nature of philanthropy.  He's right and those of us in technology know how the Internet has made just about everything easier   As an aside Bill Clinton is a phenomenal speaker, generously sharing his rich experiences with the audience.  Even though I had to get up at 4:30 to be in line by 6 to sit in the front row, it was WELL worth it!  Friday was a very good day at Microsoft.
