Just scheduled the exam, curious what the questions will be :-)
After reading the preparation information for the exam, I realize how little I actually know about Windows internals and debugging. I have done a fair about of debugging user mode applications; however, does anybody know any good resources for expanding my knowledge of lower level components? I've thought about writing my own device driver (hands-on is the best way I learn things), but I don't know where to start.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
You've probably seen this elsewhere already, but I keep getting asked about it (that's reasonable!),
Quote from the prepguide:
Microsoft Press Books: There are no Microsoft Press books currently available.
I think the Windows Internals book by
Mark Russinovich and David Solomon would be a usefull book to use preparing for this Exam ?
Y parecía que íbamos a estar tranquilitos cuando se nos presentan en el blog de Trika cuatro exámenes
I've just done the exam. Really cool! It matched my expectations 100% - deep architecture and trobleshooting skills tested here...
