As you might know, Windows Embedded organizes a competition each year, announcing the topic at ESC Boston around September and announcing the winners at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley around May. This year the winner was Marco Bodoira and he won$15,000 for his “Guitar Multi Effect” submission.
You can read Bodoira story and learn more about this edition of the competition on the Windows Embedded news center.
This competition has, since its beginning, been targeting Windows Embedded CE.
This summer we wanted to try out with Windows Embedded Standard 7. I am sure participants will be really excited about getting to play with WES 7 and building some crazy Embedded project. The embeddedSPARK 2010 Sumer Challenge was officially launched. The theme for this contest is “Media Explosion”. Check it out at the embeddedSPARK web site.
