The Windows Embedded Compact team has been super busy lately and here is why: the third update to Windows Embedded Compact 7 has just been released. You can download it from here.
This update provides new tools, application updates and bug fixes for Windows Embedded Compact 7:
It's great news to see Embedded Compact to continue to be developed for those scenarios where Embedded Standard may not be appropriate. How about Embedded Handheld, .NET Compact (v4.0 or v4.5 maybe), and support for more recent versions of Visual Studio (VS11 maybe)? Now that the plans for Winodws 8 have been publicly detailed, it would be nice to see the same for Embedded Handheld for those scenarios such as rugged barcode scanners, etc.
Good News!!! Expecting more future updates to make a stable OS
