Welcome Office Developers  & Architects!

My name is Khawar Ahmed and I'm a product manager in the Microsoft Office Platform Strategy team. This year, I  have the honor of owning the overall business plans for the Office Developer Conference 2008.  

ODC 2008 promises to be a ground-breaking event. There is strong momentum from 2007 Office system launch, we will be in the middle of Office 14 development, and there is tremendous interest in our Office Business Applications (OBA) strategy. 

As you might suspect, planning a conference of this size takes some effort and is very much a team effort. Rather than do it in isolation and hope we get it right, we thought it might be good to share plans as we work on them, and get your feedback and input along the way to make sure we are doing things that you'd find useful. This, and the ODC track owner blogs, are our attempt to do so. Look for regular blog entries and let us know what you think.
