The Visual Studio codename "Orcas" TAP (or Technology Adoption Program) has been in progress for a while but we've found we have space for a couple of extra participants in two specific areas. The timeframe is not long so you would have to act quickly and we would have to complete all the "paperwork" before the end of May 2007. There's no cost to be involved but there are requirements which mean you would have to provide resource to be involved. Also you need to apply to be selected. Here are the two areas we're looking for right now. Both of these areas build on Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and are planned to be included in .NET Framework 3.5 which is shipping with Visual Studio codename "Orcas":

• WCF provides richer support for URI handling which allows services to be built with Representational State Transform (REST) style addressing. This allows parameters or other data items to be included more naturally as elements in the URI providing for a more loosely coupled and more readable URI.
• Building WCF services that expose data through syndication protocols including RSS and ATOM. Useful when you have time based data that the simple publish and subscribe semantics of RSS or ATOM are useful either viewed by a newsreader like IE7 or by another program.
