i have posted an article on
developer.com
about my take on the pdc this year. i just recorded general impressions of the new technologies that are coming out of redmond this year and next year. i can
not remeber a time, if it has even happened, when MS has delivered so many products. having been around some of the teams delivering these, i know there have been many sleepless nights as they near the RTM date. anyone who has not been on a product team, and i am not refering to a project team, it is hard to understand all the different elements that go into delivering a shrinkwrap product that is also scrutinized they way Microsoft products are. love us or hate us, i think that if you saw the dedication and work ethic of these folks, you would admire them at the very least for that. the next few months should be pretty exciting for the tech world...
