Microsoft Silverlight has been selected by the Presidential Inaugural Committee as the technology to be used to stream the Barack Obama inauguration ceremony, as reported on their official website.

And the CNN is launching a site called “The Moment” which will use Photosynth to collect photos from the people who will attend the event and build a 3D collection made of all these photos.

I will definitely keep an eye on both tomorrow :)
