Every year Microsoft is proud to host its Worldwide Partner Conference. The WPC offers the company and partner community a chance to "network and build connections, share best practices, and learn new skills and techniques." This past month Microsoft hosted the WPC in New Orleans and we thought we'd highlight some of the news to come out of that event. Some of this you may have heard already, some you may have not. Either way the information out of the WPC is a great way to learn more about Microsoft and how we connect to the rest of the world. I've included the text from the News roundup post from BlogMS and a few of the headlines, but you can find much more over there.

"The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is an annual gathering where Microsoft Corp.’s partner community will network and build connections, share best practices, and learn new skills and techniques. At WPC09 — July 13–16 in New Orleans — Microsoft shared its strategies and visions for addressing the challenging economy, saving customers money, and helping partners and customers compete confidently. Steve Ballmer, Stephen Elop, Kevin Turner, Allison Watson and many other executives will share their vision for the company and kick off a year of product launches like no other in Microsoft history.
