Oh, the puns keep coming. And probably will.

Nonetheless, very exciting news out from Microsoft yesterday: our customers love their Xboxes and Xbox services. I can only imagine how much they'll love our Kinect. Not to mention what kind of audience we can add to our Xbox community with the new versatility and games the Kinect provides. Kinect Project Manager, Tom Geyer, is quoted saying, “We’re really focused on bringing this product out to a new audience. [...] We’re showing up at fairs and festivals where families are going to be this summer and introducing them to a side of Xbox that they’re not familiar with.”

Thankfully we won't have to wait much longer. The Kinect is available for pre-order right now. It will be on shelves on November 4th and will cost $150. If you've heard all the hype about Kinect and thought to yourself, "I wish I had an Xbox so I could take advantage of this awesome technology" - well cheer up: there will also be a starter bundle including a Kinect controller, the game Kinect Adventures, and the new 4GB Xbox 360 for $299. You can read more about the release and Kinect right over here (credit to that press release for the Tom Geyer quote as well).
