NJ Microsoft Developers Group Birthday Party

NJ Microsoft Developers Group Birthday Party

Speaking of user group birthday's… It was brought to my attention by Paul Mooney that next week, on December 7th, the NJ Microsoft Developers group will celebrate its 6th birthday. That makes the NJ MS Dev group the longest running .NET user group in the NJ/NY/PA metro area (at least that I'm aware of J)! That's right, it's been 6 years since Bill Zentmayer and Sajee Mathew started that group up at the Microsoft office in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

The group migrated with the Microsoft office to its new location in Iselin, NJ and meets there on the first Thursday of each month. It has been run by Jeff Lyttle, Eldad Sorek, and Mikhail Shir from Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) the past couple of years. Joining the party to help run the group is Sonya Lidov. Sonya is also a MCS'er.

To celebrate 6 years of NJ MS Dev, they've got some fun things planned for next week. Come on out to hear Sonya talk about Integrating Custom Workflows with MOSS 2007. In addition to the regular free pizza & soda, there will be some birthday cake, and cool prizes to give out, including one of those shiny new Zunes!
