Today, the Windows Live Writer team released beta 2 of their blogging tool. The previous beta has been out for quite some time now, and a must have tool to have in your arsenal as a blogger! I've been privy to several internal betas the past couple of months, and now it's great that everyone else gets to try out the new features I've been using for a while now.
Writer is a desktop application that makes it easy to publish rich content to your blog. It can to publish to Windows Live Spaces, SharePoint, WordPress, Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, Moveable Type, Community Server, and many other weblog services.
Another great feature of Writer is that it has a great plug-in model with several plug-ins available to help with things like publishing photos from Flickr, inserting source code (for geek bloggers), and more.
The Writer team has been listening to your feedback to improve the tool since the first beta. They've been picking up feedback from discussion forums and YOUR blogs! So keep the feedback coming. If you've got feedback about Windows Live Writer, post about it on your blog!
