Having been out at the beginning of the month, I haven't had a chance to get up my usual monthly user group listings post.  I wanted to let folks that tonight the Lehigh Valley .NET user group will be meeting at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.   For those of you not from the area, that's just southeast of Allentown, Pa, not to far from I-78.

Tonight's topic: "Developing a Better User Experience with ASP.NET AJAX"

Tonight's speaker: Me! - Peter Laudati

From Chris Waters, here's the official details:

Our next Lehigh Valley .NET meeting will be held on Monday, July 16th, starting at 5:30pm!

We will be meeting at DeSales University, Dooling Hall. Directions can be found on our web site (www.LehighValleyDotNet.org).

Peter Laudati, a Developer Evangelist with Microsoft, will present the topic “Developing A Better User Experience with ASP.NET AJAX”. We’ll do an overview of the Microsoft AJAX Library and how you can use it to enhance your ASP.NET applications. We’ll also dive into the code to see how it works under the covers.

In his current role, Peter works with developer community in the NY, NJ, and PA areas to support area user groups, code camps, and other events. Previously, he worked as a consultant in Microsoft’s services division. As a consultant, he worked on several application development projects and provided architectural guidance for large customers throughout the NY & NJ metro area. He lives with his family in central New Jersey and loves kayaking and biking at the Jersey Shore. His blog can be read at http://blogs.msdn.com/peterlau.
